Major General Ondra Berry, USAF (Ret)

Major General Ondra Berry is a member of the Government Relations & Audit Committees.  Maj. Gen. Ondra Berry, USAF (Ret.) is a lifelong leader dedicated to service, transformation, and community impact. He currently serves as the Chief Momentum Officer with Blue Courage, a training organization that inspires individuals and organizations through innovative education and consulting.

With 38 years of service in the Nevada National Guard, Maj. Gen. Berry rose from A1C to Major General. In 1988, the National Guard Bureau recognized him as one of the Outstanding Airmen of the Year nationwide. His career culminated in September 2019, when Governor Steve Sisolak appointed him as the Adjutant General for the State of Nevada, leading the Nevada National Guard. He was reappointed by Governor Joe Lombardo in December 2023.

As Adjutant General, he championed mental wellness, leadership development, and resiliency programs, securing critical funding and resources for Guardsmen and their families. Under his leadership, the Nevada National Guard expanded its force structure, funding, missions, and end-strength, consistently ranking as one of the top recruiting military organizations in the nation.

Beyond his military service, Maj. Gen. Berry continues to give back. He serves on the Board of Trustees for the University of Evansville and was recently named to the National Guard Youth Foundation Board, supporting programs that empower young people. His dedication to community and leadership has earned him induction into four Hall of Fames for his volunteerism and service.
